"Opening Day was a huge success! The smiles were as bright as the sun!!! Their fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious! Not too sweet with lots of tart! Their ice cream was to die for! The Algonquin Canoe ice cream is FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend stopping in for the ice cream! So many different flavours! Oh... and the staff.. the most wonderful people you will meet!Enjoy 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all day long"

"We made the time to drive 45 mins out of our way from a weekend at our trailer to celebrate with this business. I ordered $100 worth of cakes, ice cream amd merchandise so I could test EVERYTHING. The cakes, cheese cakes and the loaded Cotton Candy Cloud that I ordered was absolutely delicious. The cakes traveled well back to our trailer in Stonecliffe. We sat and watched the parlor fill itself with families that lined up at 11am to join in on all the flavors this shop has to offer. Thank you Tamra and Danny for bringing life back into this town with all your youthful ideas. Poutine, Ice Cream and Crystal's should be every families dream. Thank you for investing in your community. Another exciting thing for me was seeing the All Gender Washroom Thank you for all you do for Mattawa."

"What an amazing place to go for ice cream, and so much more. My first impression was mouth to floor, with how bright, clean and sharp the shop looked. Then to top it off, the service was great!!. My root beer float I ordered, was the cherry on top!. I had to go back and try their lemonade, It was the best lemonade I have had!. Definitely recommend giving them a try and I’m giving them 5 starts all around!!!"

"Great friendly service, delicious food, my pics don’t do it justice. The strawberry milkshake is packed with flavour, and the gluten free, vegan Carrot Cake is the best I’ve had (including regular carrot cakes). I haven’t tried the red velvet yet but I’m sure it’s not going to disappoint. No one’s going to judge you if you have just dessert for a meal, but you’d be missing a great experience if you didn’t check out the Turcotte’s chip-stand located behind their Main Street building. Best fries ever."

"What a cool ice cream shop! Everything is so clean and brand new. They have cool spinny tables, lots of seating and lots of ice cream choices. We didn't try, but I saw some yummy desserts too! The girl who scooped our ice cream was so nice. I brought my kids in after soccer practice on a +35 day and they loved it! So many kinds to choose from but bubble gum was the timeless choice!"

"As someone who absolutely loves ice cream, I have to say this place is a must-try! A sweet little ice cream shop in a cozy small town—perfect for travelers exploring northern Canada. The staff are super friendly, and the interior is just lovely. I usually go for cherry, cookies & cream, or vanilla, but ever since visiting here, I’ve been getting moonmist flavor every day—haha, I never knew I liked bubblegum ice cream until now! The only downside is that it’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays. So I always wait weekend The beauty of the staff is sweeter than ice cream and cake."
